One of our Regional Expression Shiraz series, the Covenant is 100% Clare Valley, 100% Shiraz adn is designed to showcase the regional characters of the Clare Valley.
The 2007 vintage was one of the most challenging of the past decade. Drought conditions leading up to Christmas 2006 resulted in very low yields in the Clare Valley. But despite all this, through careful fruit selection and blending, the 2007 Covenant has come together beautifully and exhibits outstanding texture, fruit character and varietal strength. Just not a lot to go around!

Appearance: Bright red in colour with youthful crimson hues.
Nose: Intense flavour notes of licorice, coffee grinds and savoury, black olives marry in with spicy French oak char.
Palate: Dark spicy aromas carry over impressively to the palate. Its seamless mouthfeel and textural qualities combining seductively with the quality oak to provide a lingering, fine grained finish.
Alcohol: 14.7% v/v
