Quite simply the finest Grenache from Kilikanoon. It typifies beautifully the opulence and power that only fully ripened Grenache can express. Made in limited quantity from 80 year old Clare Valley fruit that was allowed to reach full flavour ripeness before hand harvesting.

Fermented in small open topped vessels, basket pressed into older French oak hogsheads and allowed to mature for 24 months. This single vineyard wine
exhibits aromas of cherry fruits and dark chocolate whilst the palate is broodingly dark and complex with chocolate flavours persisting long after the wine has been consumed.

An ageing potential of at least 10 - 12 years with careful cellaring.
