Tregea Vineyard

Springfarm Road, Penwortham, Clare Valley, South Australia, 5453 | 24.27 ha under vine

Planted in 1998 this small, dry grown Cabernet Sauvignon block frames our Cellar Door and provides the superb grapes for our Tregea Reserve Cabernet.  A beautiful backdrop to our Cellar Door and rightly named Tregea's Terrace.

Soil offers gravely loam, east west running block with an easterly aspect. Being tucked away in the shady and cool soils that sit next to the old river bed, these grapes are typically  some of the last picked each year.

2018 Tregea Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Named after the original owner of the Kilikanoon Cellar Door property John Tregea, our flagship Cabernet Sauvignon is comprised of fruit grown on the cooler Cellar Door site. This is complimented with fruit from the warmer vineyards at the Kilikanoon winery in Leasingham.
